Warped Reality
Warped Reality pushes the Panorama Time photographs to the extreme limits of mobile phone camera algorithms. Panoramic images are deliberately subjected to computational stitching, distortion, and image-processing processes until the camera’s attempt to reconstruct reality becomes visible. The resulting images occupy an unstable space between photographic documentation and algorithmic fabrication.
The project treats the smartphone camera not as a neutral recording device, but as an active image-making system. By pushing its computational logic toward failure, Warped Reality exposes the hidden mechanisms through which contemporary devices construct, correct, and ultimately reshape what we perceive as reality.
