Relational Now
Relational Now is an experimental online exhibition that investigates the relationship between image, platform, viewer, and situated space. Presented through Facebook’s 360° environment, Panorama Time photographs become navigable rather than static: the viewer moves through the image while simultaneously remaining in their physical surroundings. The artwork therefore exists not solely on the screen, but in the unstable interval between virtual image, bodily presence, and immediate context.
The project treats the platform itself as part of the artistic material. Algorithms, display formats, technological glitches, failed image loading, and unpredictable transformations interfere with the work and become forms of co-authorship. Relational Now thus approaches the online exhibition as a post-conceptual situation in which authorship, mediation, and perception are continuously negotiated between the artist, the viewer, the technology, and the platform.
