Conspi-ratio

This performance examines conspiracy not as illicit activity per se, but through the lens of authorship and distribution. Central to the work is a certificate of authenticity, sealed in a bag typically used for narcotics. By signing it on behalf of the "author," the artist aligns themselves with the figure of an illegal distributor—critiquing conventional systems of authorship, legitimacy, and art dissemination. The gesture challenges institutional boundaries, positioning the artist as a subversive agent operating outside sanctioned channels.

The work also explores ephemerality and consumption. Made of edible materials, the "tablets" disappear once consumed, transforming the artwork into a fleeting, performative act. Its physical dissolution underscores the transient nature of art and questions the permanence and commodification of artistic objects.

The Conspiratio performance is part of the joint "Acid Truth" and "+" film project.
